Bestgrand Chemical Group已宣布其湿气硫酸（WSA）植物的成功启动 - 世界上最大的硫酸产能为300,000吨硫酸。该植物每年将从Cnooc（中国全国海上石油公司）和惠州市欧洲人壳牌之间的合资企业运营的邻近世界范围的炼油厂每年治疗131,000吨酸性气体过度围栏。

自2000年以来，Topsoe已在中国销售68个WSA工厂，54厂已经在溪流上，14家工厂正在建设中。
WSA是一项专利的Topsoe技术，包括专有设备和性能催化剂，可从精炼工业中从储质行业，煤炭生产和钢铁生产中取出硫磺中的硫。WSA将含硫气体转化为浓硫酸，该硫酸在生产中重新使用或作为商业产品出售。
