SNG | Gasification
In the gasification unit, a carbon-containing material such as coal, petcoke or biomass reacts with a controlled amount of oxygen and steam at high temperature. This results in a raw synthesis gas consisting of CO, CO2, H2, H2O, H2S, COS, CH4and other compounds (incl. tars, slag and dust).
